When going to the checkout page, there should be a menu in the left hand column but instead it just displays ^AssetProxy(somepath); Doesn't appear to hinder checkout.

Is this on a specific website, like PB.com, or a demo site or a customer site?

Does "somepath" exist on their site? http://hosted_company.com/somepath? If not, it can't be asset proxied.

All of the commerce methods use $session->style->userStyle, which then calls process, which evaluates macros.

I suspected that was the case. Something must not be right on that specific site then. I'll do some more investigating.

Not sure what changed, but this appears to be resolved. Perhaps a biproduct of an upgrade that happened recently. Closing this.
