Email to forum not working from Mac

I responded by email to several posts in a WebGUI Collaboration system using the Mail application on my MacBook Pro.

Several unexpected things happened:

- Each message was posted twice.
- In almost every case, mail was posted as an attachment rather than text (in one case the text was displayed as expected)
- Two new threads called "untitled" were created, each with an attachment containing nothing).

To reproduce
1) Subscribe to a Collaboration system that allows mail to be sent to it

2) Create a new thread (so you have something in your mailbox to reply to)

3) Reply to the thread using the Mail application in MacBook Pro.

You may want to try this several times to replicate the issue.

Frank,

I'm replying to this from my iMac running Mail on 10.4.9 in  
plaintext. I have not had problems before replying to messages from  
Mail, but perhaps it's a plaintext vs. rich text issue.

There's too little information here to actually try to fix what you're talking about. However, I have seen this happen before, and it's not limited to macs. So what I've done is created a "originalEmail" field in the post table that will store the raw mime message. We can then use that in the future to diagnose this problem when it rears it's ugly head.
