A user tried to upload an updated version of a gif & pdf contained within 2 separate file assets. After uploading the new files and committing the changes, it seems as if the new files never make it to webgui. Nothing appears in any of the logs. I checked the www/public/uploads and the updated files DO exist here. So the files are being uploaded, its just that webgui doesn't seem to be tracking them properly.

The version tracker does show that updates were made to the file assets, but when you click to view the changes, it shows the original files.

I was able to replicate this problem, when i tried myself to update the file assets. I copied the new files from the server running webgui to my local machine (bc the new files did get uploaded) and then attempted to update the file assets. Same problem, no errors whatsoever in the logs.

As a temp solution i uploaded these files as new file assets.
