I think it is time for some competition. Klaus and me recently noticed that we are going to live close-by soon (Rhine-Neckar Region, Germany). Hence, we (or at least me) decided to initiate regular WebGUI drinks similar to those in the Netherlands. Who would be interested to join? We could start to meet some time in November - possibly once a month. Please, drop me a note. I am going to make this anouncement on www.webgui-cms.de in addition.

Hey Albert,
interesting definition of "so close". But if you were trying to scare me you were not successful. You and your buddies are more than welcome to join. And If you really showed up I would be paying for the first two rounds! Sounds like the beginning of a wonderful collaboration :-P

Finally, I have been able to register on webgui-cms.de. The announcement for the first German user group is out. Let's hope that there is more interest than on webgui.org.

I probably have a week off in November. So if you let me know when you picked a date, I can arrange that I have that week off. I'd like to come, but I'll need a place to sleep...
And we should invite zylopha, since he/she is also very close

I probably have a week off in November. So if you let me know when you picked a date, I can arrange that I have that week off. I'd like to come, but I'll need a place to sleep...
I am not sure if we can allow that. There is a quota for non-German participants :-P But maybe we can make an exception. Especially, since translation will almost certainly be on the agenda. Waiting for replies on webgui-cms.de at the moment. Afterwards we can discuss the date.
PS: You can stay at my place. But it's only a single-room appartment. I do not have guest bed.

You might consider posting your meetings to the WebGUI community calendar as well.
As soon as we have fixed the date. What would be preferred: an day in the week or weekend?

for me probably a weekday, but don't let that decide for you. I am not German and travelling in Germany can also take a lot of time. So maybe you prefer a weekend.
