Hi All,

I'm trying to upgrade from 7.4.39 to the latest version: 7.5.21.

RedHat, source install, source upgrade.

testEnvironment tells me everything is allright, so I run upgrade, and get the message "no upgrade necessary". huh?

looking in the webguiVersion table shows I'm still on the old version.

What is going on here?

The upgrade went smoothly insofar that I was used to be able to just unpack an update over an older installation, then testEnvironment and upgrade... that did not work.

The failed upgrade (directly from 7.4.39 to 7.5.21) made it necessary to delete the directory, put back a backup, then go to 7.4.40 first, then 7.5.21

But yes, apart from the Archive::Any module which I had to build by hand, everything went smoothly.

I'm not using a wre, but the source install. I did try the wre at some time, but that started trying to reinstall all my existing (and modified) software, so I left that path.
