Hi All,

I just installed WebGui on my PC with Ubuntu 7.10 . Instellation went pretty smooth and I was able to bring up most services and create a website and access it. The only problem is that Spectre won't come up. It gives an error: "Unable to connect to 127.0.0.1:32133: Connection refused"

Anyone got a quick tip?

What is Spectre BTW? :-)

Thanks in advance,

Oren

The "Unable to connect" means that a WRE script tried to talk to Spectre, but it wasn't running.

Did you try simply: wreservice.pl --start spectre?

If that doesn't work, I'd start out with running WebGUI/sbin/spectre.pl with the --run and --debug options to see what happens.

Spectre is WebGUI's offline-execution daemon. It handles commits, maintenance tasks, approval processes, and other things.

Preaction,

Thank you for your quick response. I found out and fixed the problem - It was that the TZ env variable was not set when I started services.

Best,

Oren
