The last time someone dared to ask was in 2005. Has anyone tried since? Discussion way back in 2005. We're using the current WRE, and aside from an issue that I had with the use of the cores on the machine (dual core, dual processor and it crashed Modperl about every 3 minutes), it's working well. I still plan to write up my experience with Modperl and the core issue for wiki, but haven't gotten around to that yet. The summary of the solution was to use a utility called imagecfg.exe to set the affinity of the Apache executable to use only one core. I'm hoping that a future version of Modperl won't require that.
