It would be nice to be able to select all assets and make shortcuts of them via the asset manager.

Whenever I can't easily see a reason to do something, I need to ask why you would want it, and what you're trying to accomplish. Please fill me in.

That's fine.  I know there are alternatives to doing what I'm trying to do. I'm basically doing a "bypass" directory by using snippets and folders within webgui. It's a long winded explaination, and more of internal decisions that are pushing this.

I thought maybe this would be helpful for others, but if not, that's ok.
