According to the wiki, content profiling is the preferred way to do metatags.
meta name="description" and meta name="keywords" are usually quite lengthly (up to 600 or 800 chars). and it appears that webgui allows for about 50 chars.

The wiki is wrong. Content profiling has really nothing to do with meta tags. It certainly can be used for that in a limited capacity, but that's not the reason content profiling was added to WebGUI, nor is it the main use.

Does that mean my request is rejected? or put on the docket? Is it a matter of me going into the db, and increasing the size of the field? or are there other changes to be made?
Looking at the dbschema, it appears it's 100 characters?
