This may be considered a bug, but I think it's an RFE.

The Product macro will accept either a SKU or a productId.  But the productId is never displayed on the screen.  You can get it by looking at the URL when you edit the product though.

So, the RFE is:

Make the productId visible in the editProduct screen of Operation/ProductManager.
