An Open Letter To Whom It May Concern:
In case you don't already know me, my name is JT Smith. I'm the President of Plain Black, and I've been working with Internet technology for more than 15 years. Over the past 10 years I've been very involved in web application technology, specifically with content management, and the open source software revolution.
I'm going to use this blog as a sort of a clipboard to organize my thoughts about the future of CMS, open source, WebGUI, and Plain Black. And I'm publishing it here for you to see so that you can share those insights. I'll warn you that the things I post here are not likely to be completely formed ideas, but rather just snippets or inklings that I'm having about the industry and our products. As such, don't assume that just because I say something here that it is permanently written in stone, or that anything will be done about it.
I'll be posting about once a week, or more often if the mood strikes me. I hope you find this link into the inner workings of my brain useful, thoughtful, interesting, and entertaining.
Sincerely,
JT Smith
President, Plain Black Corporation
