It has been lightly tested on Mozilla/Linux for rendering. If people wish to make changes/improvements to it, I'm open to ideas. The secret to the small template is twofold: The table width, "width=>150". However, more importantly is the CSS in the Header for the template. The width and height of the calendar days are set in #mCAL table#month th #mCAL table#month div The calendar does not display events as a list in the box anymore, but it will display a drop-down graphic.
