I want to adapt the Default Submission template for the collaberation system, to slightly change how the photo gallery works. The reason for this is that I want the thumbnail not to be an auto-resized version of the main image, but a cropped area, uploaded separately.

So my goal is that the user can submit to the gallery, the first image will be the thumbnail, the second will be the full-size version. The thumbnails will be used in the existing photo gallery main template, but the Default Submission template needs changing so it doesn't display all attachments in the loop, rather ignores the first (thumbnail) and just displays the second.

I need to replace the attachment_loop with something to just show the second attachment, can anyone give me any pointers?
