Hey folks,
We have a client who had a MySQL table crash (userSession) which resulted in "bad things" in his WebGUI site. He's a skilled sysadmin and maintains a 30,000+ member website running on MySQL (not WebGUI yet) so has some experience in managing databases.
He suggested the following steps be taken as part of the Weekly maintenance workflow:
* REPAIR all tables in all databases * OPTIMIZE all tables in all databases * investigating FLUSH as well
Perhaps you're already doing this. If not, I'd like to hear your thoughts about adding these.
William
