Here is a rough spec of the updates to the survey system I'd like to do before committing it to WebGUI. This is just a really rough working draft, but I'm looking for anything I might have left out.
One thing that has been mentioned on IRC, and that I'll want to include in a later release, is workflow hooks upon nearly every state of the survey (survey start, end, seciton completed, question answered, specific answer chosen, etc).
As the survey currently stands, only about 80% of this is in place, and I don't have upgrade scripts or tests in place. And with the deadline in two weeks, I might be pushing it to get all these features in place and get the tests done (which probably should have been written as I was developing as I'd hate to finish the tests, only to have them show me days worth of bugs, but I digress).
Anyways I,'m looking for any sort of feedback, ideas, criticisms, obnoxious remarks, good jokes, anecdotes, or riddles.

Looks good perlmonkey2.
For my own purposes an optional Summary page at the end of the Survey along the lines of "you gave the following answers..." would be handy, especially if you could set it so that users can return to the Survey post-completion and see their Summary. But given the time constraints that might be better left until later.

Yes, that is a request I've heard a few times, and I don't know how it slipped my mind to add it to the spec. I don't think it will make it in the first release. But it should certainly make it in next one.
I'd think it should be just a survey option to show a simple template of the questions and their answers. Then allow each question to reshow that single question. Which then takes the user back to the final answers display. I can also see this being useful at the section level.
